We at Mighty Bright Technologies, take your privacy very serious. There will be times that we will have to ask you for certain personal information (name, address, e-mail address, and or phone number). This will also include username and password information at times. This information may be needed to access the device/account so that we are able to do the necessary repairs. Mighty Bright Technologies ensure that ALL personal account information will be kept fully confidential. A limited number of employees will have access to this information and a violation policy is in effect. We will not sell or give away your personal information for any reason.
Mighty Bright Technologies, its affiliates, and agents, are not meant to be held liable for any damages (including, without limitation, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) resulting from our work (including the use or inability to use our website, MightyBright.Tech), based on any legal theory.
Any time work is done on electronics there is unpredictable risks. Your device may be beyond repair. There is always the possibility that your device will be permanently damaged during the repair process, and it may be declared useless. Parts and components deteriorate over time and can go bad without warning, especially with water damage when components can short circuit, oxidize, corrode, and rust over time.
Touch id or Face id on Apple devices may fail during the repair and could be considered unusable. Even though this is not common, it can happen depending on the condition of the device.
Integrated Graphics processing unit on laptops and All-in-One computers can fail without warning specifically on older devices such as 2011 MacBooks/iMacs. HP, Dell, Toshiba, and other devices with known GPU problems of any year, make, and model.
Some devices, such as iPads, have glued-on screens. Repairs on these can require prying the screen off to gain access to the internal components. These screens are extremely delicate, and they can crack or break during the prying process. We are extremely experienced with this and the risk of the screen breaking in minimal, but there is always the possibility that the glass will break being as it is so fragile.
Mighty Bright Technologies accepts most forms of payments including, but not limited to: Cash
We have a warranty on services completed by Mighty Bright technicians. If, within 90 days of the completed work, the service provided by us has an issue we will perform the service again at no charge to you (the customer). This does not cover issues that may develop within the warranty period that are not related to the services performed by us. Some new parts will have a manufacturer’s warranty that will cover part malfunction. We do not offer warranty coverage on any parts used that were not purchased through Mighty Bright Technologies, software issues (virus removal and operating system installation), and new issues not directly tied to the original service. Installing or modifying existing hardware in the warranty period voids the warranty.
Estimate and Repair time:
We will do our best to get your device repaired and back to you as quickly as possible, however, there are many factors that can change and or extend the expected repair time given to you. We typically work on devices in the order they are received but there are times a device that came in after yours will be finished first if parts had to be ordered for your and not theirs or similar circumstances. Repairs are completed as quickly as we can, but there is no guarantee of how long the service will take. Any service times given to you are estimates of long it will take (know that ordering parts and shipping can always change this) as we can never fully know the exact amount of time a repair will take.
If the service we are providing to your device requires replacement parts to complete the job, we will contact you. We will discuss the necessary parts and why they are needed,
price changes, approximate part arrival time and job completion time. Then, with your approval move forward ordering the parts to complete the repair job.
Initial/Estimate & Diagnostic Fee:
We have a minimum fee for repairs and or diagnostics on devices and equipment that were unsuccessful. This fee will start at $40 and go up depending on the device and the amount of time that went into attempting the repair.
Pickup and Storage:
Please pick up items within 90 days unless other arrangements are made in a timely manner. We appreciate your promptness with this!
